‣ Draft multimillion-dollar proposals (many of which lifted the foundation to its two most successful fundraising years in 2018 and 2019)

‣ Write executive talking points, emails and other correspondence for the Chief Development Officer
‣ Copy-edit digital and mail pieces for the Team USA Fund, the foundation’s annual fund program, to ensure consistency in brand voice and image
‣ Manage an annual printing budget ranging between $30,000-40,000
‣ Serve as the communications expert for the Technology and Innovation Fund

Minnesota Wild: Digital and Social Media Intern (July 2016–July 2017)

‣ Wrote social media copy for the Minnesota Wild’s Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts
‣ Created Snapchat Stories
‣ Wrote content for wild.com
‣ Posted stories on the Wild’s website using the NHL’s CMS

University Communications at the University of Wisconsin-Madison: Hometown News Coordinator (March–December 2015)

‣ Coordinated the Hometown News Program for University Communications, the hub of UW-Madison’s communication and promotion
‣ Responded to media inquiries
‣ Wrote and distributed press releases about student achievements and faculty research
‣ Authored feature stories for Inside UW, The Weekly and the UW-Madison homepage (www.wisc.edu)

Wisconsin Union: Social Media Intern (May–August 2015)

‣ Planned and executed social media campaigns for the Wisconsin Union across Twitter, Facebook and Instagram
‣ Monitored and responded to community feedback and questions concerning dining experiences and the Memorial Union Reinvestment
‣ Increased the Union’s Instagram following by 52 percent in three months
‣ Posted the page’s top four most-liked photos and seven of the top ten most-liked photos of all time
